Whilst this is not a game cruise, you have a good chance of seeing crocodiles, hippopotamuses, elephants, buffalo, giraffes and antelope. Bird life is also amazing.
What happens during the Evening?
Your evening begins with collection from your Victoria Falls hotel or lodge before transferring to the departure point on the Zambezi River.
Collections are between 16h00 pm to 16h45 pm depending where you are staying.
After boarding the Moondancer, guests are welcomed aboard and invited to enjoy drinks as the vessel gently cruises upstream.
As the sun begins to set, the river transforms into a spectacular display of colour. This is often one of the best opportunities of the evening for photography and wildlife viewing.
Following sunset, guests are invited to their tables, where the four-course Journey of the Zambezi menu is served.
Throughout the evening, Moondancer continues its leisurely cruise while guests enjoy dinner, conversation and the atmosphere of the river after dark.
At the end of the cruise, transfers return guests to their accommodation in Victoria Falls.
The cruise finished at +/- 20h00 pm and you should get back to your hotel by +/- 20h30 pm.

The Zambezi Origins Dinner Cruise is operated on the boat called Moondancer, a completely renovated boat decorated to celebrate the Zambezi river, its people, its cultures and its cuisine. The Moondancer can take up to 56 guests for dinner, but is unlikely to take more than 40 guests on a normal cruise. Moondancer has all the necessary safety features required.
Is the cruise wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the cruise is wheelchair accessible. However, please note that while it is possible to get onto the boat in a wheelchair, the onboard restrooms may not be as fully accessible. Please let us know of any specific accessibility needs in advance.
What is the cancellation policy for the dinner cruise?
For a refund, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the departure time may not be eligible for a refund.

Can I see Victoria Falls from the cruise?
The cruise takes place above Victoria Falls, and the boat cannot go too close to Victoria Falls. From a few pints in the cruise you can see the mist rising up from Victoria Falls, but theactual falls is not visible from the cruise. The Zambezi River provides its own spectacular views.
