The four-course feast begins with a shared starter platter, featuring specialities such as smoked crocodile tail, followed by soup from the campfire, before a braai (barbecue) buffet, which includes warthog steak, Zambezi bream, as well as an extensive salad bar, and finally a smorgasbord of delectable desserts.

The energy and vibe of The Boma will captivate you before you even set foot inside. On arrival, you are ceremoniously dressed in your “chitenge”, before being welcomed by traditional dancers, having a photo opportunity, and mini face paint. On entering The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show you are ushered into the main enclosure, where your senses will be bombarded by the tastes, sights and sounds of Africa. Once seated you are invited to take part in a hand washing ceremony and to taste the local brew, before tucking into your four-course dinner. The entertainment incorporates traditional dancers, a local folk storyteller, a fortuneteller, a hair braider, face painters, acapella singers and souvenir sellers. The highlight of the evening’s entertainment is the energetic interactive drumming show beginning after dinner at 9pm. To end off the drumming show, you are invited to the dance floor to groove to the beat of the African drums.

The Boma restaurant menu has something for everyone. Your four-course dinner begins with a shared starter platter featuring mouth-watering specialities such as skewered peppered impala, smoked crocodile tail and corn ciabatta and “nyimo” fritters.
The Main Course:
Make your way to the campfire for the chef’s freshly made soup of the day, before indulging in a feast featuring a braai (barbeque) buffet including our famous warthog “pumba” steak, beef, pork and marinated chicken and our spit roast of the day. You may also tempt your taste buds with one of our traditional hunter’s stews, our fish – Zambezi bream and kapenta (freshwater sardine), or peanut butter rice or spinach and sadza / isitshwala (a thick maize-meal porridge which is the staple diet of the country). Other vegetarian dishes include a vegetable stir-fry and chef’s daily pasta dish.
There is also an extensive salad bar. Halaal diners are also catered for.
