Bridge Slide Over the Zambezi Gorge Overview
One of the mildest adventure activities on the Victoria Falls Bridge, but still providing a rush of adrenalin as you zip across the gorge with the mighty Zambezi River below you.
After check in, the bridge staff will fit you out with your harness, and you then take a short walk down the scenic gorge to where the slide master will be waiting for you. The harness is double checked and strapped to the slide rig, and when all set you lift your legs and start your exhilarating journey over the gorge, ending up close to the famous Victoria Falls Bridge.
One of the operators will reel you in, and then take you back to the bridge to have your harness removed. The experience lasts seconds, but will be a memory that will live with you for ever, it is mild enough for a child of 6 to do, but if you prefer you can do this as a tandem with your child or a loved one to enjoy this experience together.

Do I need a visa to do the Bridge Slide at Victoria Falls ?
No, you don’t need a full visa. The activity happens in the “no man’s land” between Zimbabwe and Zambia. You do need to carry your passport and you’ll simply pass through the Zimbabwean or Zambian border post, get a Bridge Pass, and return after your slide, no extra visa or stamping required.
What should I wear for the Bridge Slide?
Wear comfortable clothes and closed shoes (no flip-flops). Dresses and skirts aren’t ideal, as you’ll be fitted into a safety harness. Sunglasses should be secured, and it’s best to leave loose items behind.
How long does the Bridge Slide experience take?
The whole activity takes around 45 minutes to an hour, including safety briefing, gear fitting, and the actual slide. The slide itself lasts about 10 seconds of pure excitement!
Can I take photos or videos on the Bridge Slide?
You can bring a GoPro if it’s securely attached, but the operators also offer professional photo and video packages so you can relive your Bridge Slide moment and share it on social media.
Does the Bridge Slide include transfers?
No, none of the activities on Victoria Falls Bridge include transfers. You need to make your own way to the bridge and be there about 30 minutes before your scheduled time for checkin and safety procedures. (Dont forget your passport)
