Horse Riding Safari, Zambezi National Park

All rides start and end at the Stables on the outskirts of Victoria Falls town. Riding through National Park areas there is always a high chance of encountering some of the wild animals which live here, often at close quarters and from the comfort of your saddle.

Qualified, licensed guides lead all rides and are accompanied by a back up rider. All the guides are dedicated, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. A keen interest is taken in the environment as well as the flora and fauna of the area.

The morning ride includes a full buffet breakfast, whilst the 3hr afternoon ride offers soft drinks, beer, wine and snacks on return to the stables.

These short morning or afternoon trips are between 2½ to 3 hours in total, the experienced ride is +/- 4.5 hours.

Novice riders with limited experience are given an opportunity to enjoy the special experience of exploring the African bush by horseback.

For the more experienced rider, either a short morning or afternoon ride, extended morning, full day or multi-day trip is available.

To be on an experienced ride, you must be able to ride unassisted and with confidence. At minimum you should have mastered basic aids, be able to do a rising trot for stretches of at least 10 minutes at a time, be comfortable at all paces and able to gallop out of trouble, even at the end of a long days ride.
