How long does the Chobe Game Drive and Chobe Sunset Cruise Combo last?"
The full experience takes between 7 – 8 hours in total, the game drive in the morning is 3 to 4 hours with transfers, a midday break, and the cruise similarly is 3 to 4 hours in the evening with transfers.
What time does the tour start and end?
The start time varies by about 30 minutes from summer to winter months, the tour starts at between 6am and 6:30am, and the day finishes at approximately 18h30pm.
Is lunch included in the price?
No, lunch is excluded, there is a break in time between the drive and the cruise for you to return to your lodge or a local restaurant for lunch. If you would like a package including lunch, you can book the Full-day Chobe Day Trip from Kasane
Do I need to pay park entry fees for both activities?
The National Parks Fees for Chobe are on a per person, per day basis, so if you do both activities on the same day you will only pay one fee. If, however, you split these activities over two days, then you will be required to pay two parks fees.
Is the activity child friendly?
Yes, children are welcome on both activities; however, as these are usually shared activities, we request that parents supervise young children. Children are usually charged 50% of the listed price, and depending on their age, the parks fees also vary, check with your agent for these details.
What animals should I expect to see?
Chobe is famous for its elephant population, and you have a great chance to see buffalo, lions, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, sable antelope, and over 450 bird species. Sightings can vary by season.
Is the activity weather dependant, what happens if it rains?
The activity operates in most weather conditions, and in the case of rain, the game vehicles and boats do have roll-down blinds, or ponchos may be provided. In the case where extreme weather conditions cause the cancellation of any activity, we will reschedule, or if that’s not possible, you will be refunded.

No, this activity does not include a pickup from Victoria Falls or Livingstone. If you are coming from either of these 2 destinations then you could do a Chobe Day Trip from Victoria Falls / Livingstone.
Are transfers from my lodge or hotel included?
Yes, return transfers are included from hotels and lodges in Kasane. If you are self-driving, we can provide you with meeting points for both activities.
