The bungee jump in Victoria Falls takes place on the historic Victoria Falls Bridge. The bridge connects Zimbabwe and Zambia, and provides guests from both countries the opportunity to do one of the most scenic bungee jumps in the world, with the backdrop of the Victoria Falls, and the raging Zambezi River below you.

The Victoria Falls Bungee Jump is 111 meters high (364 feet), making it one of the highest commercial bungee jumps in the world. The freefall lasts about 4 seconds before the the bungee cord kicks in, giving you an amazing adrenaline rush as you reach the bottom of the gorge, and then get bounced back up.

Yes the bungee jumping is safe, and of course, guest safety is of utmost priority. The operation uses internationally certified equipment, and follows strict procedures.

The professional jump masters take care of everything, from safety briefings to harnessing you up, so you can focus on enjoying the thrill.

Jumpers need to be a minimum of 14 years old and a minimum of 40 kg in weight, 88 lbs. The maximum weight is 120 kg,  265 lbs. If you are under 18 years old, you will require parents consent to do the jump.

The activity is on Victoria Falls Bridge, and the activity does not include transfers to the bridge, guests need to make their own way there. From either Victoria Falls or Livingstone, guests should make their own way to the respective border posts, where they will present their passports to obtain a day-pass tro the bridge. After the border post it a short but scenic walk to the bridge.

Yes you need to present your passport at the respective border posts, Zimbabwe or Zambia, to get a day pass to the bridge. However, your passport will not be stamped, and any visa you have from entering the country will be valid for this activity.

Zimbabwe and Zambian citizens need only present their national ID.

Comfort and freedom of movement is key, we recommend that you wear light, casual clothing, shorts, trousers and T-shirts. Avoid skirts or dresses, and wear securely fastened shoes, or go barefoot. Don’t wear any loose jewellery, hats or sunglasses that could fall off. You are welcome to use a GoPro or similar, but ensure it is securely strapped to your body. 

Absolutely, there is a professional film company based on the bridge, and they offer various packages of either video or video plus digital photographs that will help preserve your memories of this amazing experience.

A Victoria Falls bungee jump is not just about the thrill of this 111-metre plunge into the Batoka Gorge; it’s the thrill of diving off a 119-year-old historic bridge towards the raging Zambezi River with the magnificent Victoria Falls as your backdrop in a combination of scenery and adrenaline and pure magic. 

Yes, your friends and family are absolutely welcome to accompany you to the bridge to watch you. They will also need their passports to get a day-pass to the bridge, and they can either watch from the bridge, or from viewing platforms either side of the bridge. There is also a cafe on the bank, where you can get lights meals and drinks.

We strongly recommend that you book this activity in advance, especially during peak travel months when the activity can be fully booked for days. Even during non-peak months it is still better to book your preferred date and time slot in advance to avoid a long wait at the bridge for a gap that the crew can fit you into.
